EITC

We are committed to increasing access to a Waldorf School education. Through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax credit programs, you can make a significant contribution to financial aid at RVWS at a low cost to you.

About EITC Giving

If you or your business has $3,500 or more in PA state income tax liability, you can direct that to River Valley who will use your gift to provide financial aid to students in need.

You will receive a tax credit for up to 90% of your donation and you may be able to claim a federal income tax deduction for the remaining ten percent. That means if you make a gift of $4,000, you will receive a state tax refund of $3,600, making the final cost of your gift just $400.

The Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund is now helping River Valley administer our EITC program. This streamlines the process for families, makes the paperwork simple, and ensures you receive the full amount of tax credit that you are eligible for.

If you would like more information on how to apply to take advantage of these tax credit programs and support River Valley, reach out to Advancement Director Allegra Ketchum at aketchum@rivervalleyschool.org or by phone at 610-982-5606, or email Tami Clark at the Central PA Scholarship Fund at tami@cpsfcharity.org.
