Workshops That Inspire, Connect, and Deepen Understanding

Learning Together—For the Heart of Family and Community.

Learning doesn’t end with the students.

We offer ongoing workshops and lectures that support parents and caregivers in navigating childhood, parenting, and family life through the lens of Waldorf education. Our offerings include talks by River Valley faculty on topics such as media use, child development, and Waldorf philosophy, as well as hands-on workshops in the arts, crafts, and seasonal traditions.

We also invite renowned outside presenters to lead workshops that nourish both the intellect and the spirit. Most recently, we welcomed Shea Darian, author and family life educator, to offer a powerful and heart-opening workshop titled “Healing the Whole Family: Creating Healing Rhythms, Rituals, & Rites of Passage for All Ages.” Participants explored how reverence, rhythm, and meaningful ritual can be woven into the fabric of daily home life providing comfort, clarity, and connection for children and adults alike.
